I have not dyed my hair since approximately June 2006 (left), right before DG and I got married. The reason being that I didn't want anything to hurt our chances of getting pregnant or staying pregnant, regardless of the arguments pro or against hair dye.
That being said, what you see is what you get these days. And try as they might, when my parents were in town, they could not find ONE gray hair on my head. HA.
Now that spring has sprung, and I am coming out of my cocoon, I am looking back at pictures of me with lighter blond highlights and thinking about refreshing my look for the summer. See how old and tired I look with dark hair (right). Tell me what you think by taking the poll below.

I was thinking the same thing and picked up a highlighting kit, just this week. I'll send a photo when it's done. :)Unfortunately, I have way too many grey hairs to count. :(
i'm debating the same thing, i'm getting blonder by the day...??? and yes, that's BLOND, not grey. my question is, if I only get a haircut every 4 months (my average in the past 2.2 years... what would a dye job look like by that time!
You are so beautiful just as you are! But I know that getting my hair done, or having a new cut or color is fun and makes me feel so good. So if it will make you happy, do it!
And I vote for more peeing in your pants humor, especially now that I am pregnant and it really is a possibility!
Dear Anonymous, aka my Dad. Why do I think it's my dad? Well #1 you are a man who wishes 7-11 had porn, which btw it DOES. That was a true life story. I was at 7-Eleven late on a Friday night using the ATM and a young punk was getting a 40 of Mountain Dew with a stack of magazines like Jugs, and Penthouse. Hmmm, what were his plans? #2 You have at least 3 grammar errors and #3 You keep coming back for more which means you LOVE me pee or no peeing in my panties. You have to come back because of the awesome photos of your grand daughter.
Ok, so I'll stop talking about pee, but continue on with pooping one's drawers.
P.S. If you are not my dad, I apologize, but you did have 3 grammar errors. And next time, leave your name! Anonymous drives me batty.
You look gorgeous either way - that being said - I agree - getting yourself dolled up does have a way of making you feel great. So go for it !! Also I got your note in the mail the other day - thanks ! Definitely brightened my day :)

Hey Christy! I am like you, I prefer my hair au natural, and I have no grey, but every once in a while I reconsider the dying option. I like my hair with just a couple highlighted streaks (like TWO!), yet somehow every time I ask for highlights at the salon they go crazy and I walk out looking like I just spent the summer surfing at the north shore. So just be careful if you opt to do it! :)
Btw- I was reading your "baby room layout" blog to my husband & my mom out loud the other day, cause my mom is out here helping me & was doing some reorg in Madison's room. Your blog was great -- super useful info for the clueless new mom (i.e., me)!!!
