Boston RIP
Thursday, March 15, 2007
DG already posted about the death of Brad Delp, the lead singer of Boston. He also mentioned that we listened non-stop to Boston for like 48 hours when we found out. Here is the real kicker and a little known fact about me. I know every word to all of their songs. Who knew?
I'm sure it has something to do with Teenage angst and stealing my dad's cassette tapes to listen to them locked in my room while protesting meatloaf for dinner, or something.
This may come in handy for me when I go out to Karaoke this week-end.

When I saw the headline on your post, I gasped. I live in Boston, what do you mean "Boston RIP"?!!?@? Then I read it and understood. Phew.

Heh. I probably know all the words too, just don't ask me to name a single song title.
Yesterday at work, an oldies rock station was on and played "Paradise by the dashboard light". I couldn't concentrate on a single thing for the next five minutes, as all the words ran through my brain despite the fact that I hadn't heard it for years.
