Planning His Attack

Tuesday, June 20, 2006

We moved our new bird feeder out of the tree and out of reach of the pesky squirrels. They are now plotting and scheming their next plan of attack. There were 8 birds on the fence, several in the feeder, and several on the ground as this was going on.

::Sigh:: I have officially become my father. I should have saved this for retirement along with learning how to golf.

It's also possible you've become my father. He was very proud of a contraption he rigged up in Meriden that would cause the squirrels to spin around helplessly in pursuit of an ear of corn. Now you see them everywhere,he should have gotten a patent.

I want one. Twirl-a-Squirrel is brilliant. Saffry, your dad must be a genius. I just saw the squirrel this morning jump from the fence to the feeder. Buggers!!!

I've seet the twirl a squirrel in advertising in my inbox. I thought of getting one for my dad! He used to grease his posts with Vic's vapor rub so when they would try to climb up, they would slide right back down. V. funny to watch.
