Find me a Pot O'Lucky Charms
Friday, March 17, 2006

Dave and I both wore green shirts this morning and danced around the house getting ready to: Sinead O'Connor, The Cranberries, The Pogues, The Frames, and Damien Rice. We ran out of time before I was able to put some Van Morrison on. Due to running for the bus, we were not able to get a better picture. Who is that girl? Gross? I'm not sure why I didn't question my belly hanging out before I left for work today. That's not appropriate. My moving arm was me trying to cover it before the picture took. And Dave has already taken enough slack for tucking in his shirt.
As you can see from my Avatar, I've gotten in the spirit of the day. Though the rainbow makes it look like I am not only searching for a pot o' gold but also celebrating Gay Pride. I have an umbrella that is very similar. Drink green beer, eat green bagels, and do green jello shots, for the one day a year it is considered appropriate to be completely shnookered in public.

very cute you two!
(but the hand swagger does look awefully 'i have an itch')
e-rock and c-diddy are wearing green, as we recently discovered we are part irish, but jp and i are in black w/ shamrock stickers...for lack of owning green.
Dan actually put Nathan in orange today, I keep imagining what my Mom would say to seeing her grandson in "Protestant" colors. No green beer for me, but we had some Irish soda bread and corned beef for dinner and I'll sing Too-ra-loo-ra-loo-ral to Claire tonight.
What part of O'Padrick didn't you realize was Irish *winks and blinks*
Hey Amy are you French and Irish? I guess from you maiden name I always thought of you as French, but I can see the Irish in your mom.
I'm not even the tiniest bit French. That's why we mispronounced DuBois. All Mom's ancestors were Irish, and my Dad's mom and his father's mom were born in Ireland.
You can thank Ireland for YBFITWWW, my parents were on a two week vacation there when we had the "raid the liquor cabinet" night at my house.
the last name is SCOTTISH.....*big* difference. the irish is on my mom's side dating back to a great x9 grandparents in early 1600s !!!
Amy,
Suddenly it all comes back to me. My memory went with my youthful looks apparently. I do remember that your parents were on vacation. The 3 of us at your house was the perfect 'get drunk for the first time ever' atmosphere. Vodka orange juice I believe. I remember you and I sitting on your bed slurring and talking and giggling after Joy passed out. I also remember that I was nervous when my dad picked me up the next day, because I thought he'd know what I had done. His only response was "Gawd your breath is awful, what did you eat last night". I was afraid he smelled the vodka, but I blamed it on garlic spaghetti.
