Cool Things about Being Engaged and no longer single

I am no spring chicken. And this chicken was single in the hen house for a long time. Single and happy, yet griping about all the benefits that couples have that singletons do not. I will not say crap things, like "I'm a whole person now", or "he's my better half", but there are some definite benefits to being in love. Here are a few of the cool things I have learned now that I am officially part of a couple.

1) When invited to play poker with other couples, I don't get set up with a friend of someone's friend.
2) I get invited to poker parties now.
3) I'm no longer the 3rd wheel, now I'm the 3rd and 4th wheels.
4) When invited to weddings, I don't have to sit at the singles table with the other depressed single people, only to leave and go drink by myself at the bar.
5) Because of the engagement lots of people send really nice cards that say really nice things that make you feel really good.
6) I now have bling.
7) When I make an entire batch of cookies, I have someone else to blame when they are gone in a day. (GGGGGiiibson!)
8) Merging car insurance makes your rate go down!
9) People stop asking things like "when are you going to take the plunge?", or "when's DG going to make an honest woman out of you?", or "why would he want to buy the cow when the milk is free?" (oh wait never mind, that was me saying that).
10) I'll never be lonely living by myself again.
