Garage debate continued

Another reason to park my car in the garage, according to a recent 9News article, the 1995 Honda Civic was the most stolen car in 2004. I could jump up and down for joy at owning the most popular car for crack addicts and thieves, or I could just keep it parked in the garage. The Civi has been such a good practical car for me. Some day I'll be able to go *vroom*.
P.S. The Volvo would not fit in the garage having moved all of Dave's precious valuables in there from storage.

deary, is it time for a new car? i mean, i love your civi...was there with you through it all... but can your car be gentrified as you say your neighborhood is? In all my comments, i'm just thinking of the street value of the volvo, compared w/ the civi.... nuf said. (and yes, every time Dave comes over, jeff drools at the car and I have to give him the 'don't even think about it!" lecture. thanks dave, thanks a lot. cause if he's not talking volvos, its audis or macs.... jeesh!
As much as I would like a new car, I do not need one. I have a perfectly fine car and I feel it would be unwarranted, kind of vain, and plain wasteful to get rid of the Civi, just so I can ride in style. That and I don't want a car payment. I take the bus everyday anyway, so I would get a big old car payment to drive it to the grocery store once a week. Some day, but not now.
Ok, so let me get this straight. You park your car in the garage and David parks his car on the street. Are you kidding me. Do yourself a favor. Park it on the street and LEAVE THE KEYS IN IT!! You have to wash and wax the car to realize that it looks like crap.
Alright, you can't just write in all willy nilly without the facts. You need to check out the pre-garage debate in the comments in another post. My car gets broken into (2xs) for the stereo w/out the face plate, David has a factory installed stereo and an alarm system, so no one wants his stuff. Besides, my car is the MOST popular car to steel duh. hence garage.
whomever 'famdamnly' is, I concur!! :)
but kudos for Christy for taking public transportation more than any other American I know.
